Propadu Energy’s first foray into the rooftop solar power industry under the Sustainable Energy Development Authority’s (SEDA’s) Net Energy Metering (NEM) scheme is with the Perlis State Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negeri Perlis, MSN Perlis) under the Perlis State Secretariat (Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perlis, SUK Perlis).
Our pilot project is a 495-kilowatt peak rooftop photovoltaic deployment for the MSN Perlis facilities at their campus in Kangar, Perlis. Thereafter, this will be expanded to other SUK Perlis facilities and state government buildings.
The pilot phase in addition to the subsequent phases are projected to have a combined total deployment of approximately 3-megawatt peak, generating approximately 4.2 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity for these buildings, with over 2,500 tons of annual CO2 avoidance.
We are currently in the preliminary planning stage for further rooftop solar power deployments in the states of Kedah and Selangor.
